Hakanisms

Back in the late 90's my dad was fortunate enough to work with a Turk named Hakan Karan at Advanced Energy. Of course Hakan, like many non-native-English speakers, had an affinity, or at least an enjoyment for trying to pick up on American idioms. Much to our entertainment, however, these came across completely mutilated, and so my dad started the "Hakanism of the Month" list, which was set up to deliver a new phrase every month. And so I present to you the exhaustive list below!
